Ingredients
Let’s Make Mimosa Butter Cookies
- Add butter, powdered sugar, orange zest, and salt to a mixing bowl and mix until creamy.
- Add Prosecco and continue mixing on low speed.
- Add orange juice and continue mixing on low speed.
- Add flour and mix on low for 1 minute, increase speed to medium and mix until fully combined.
- Remove half of the cookie dough mixture and set it aside.
- Add a few drops of orange food coloring to the mixing bowl with half of the dough and mix or stir until the dough turns orange.
- Prepare a piping bag or a zip-top bag with a large star tip.
- Transfer the orange dough and the non-colored dough to the piping bag side by side.
- Pipe the dough in a circle to form the cookies.
- Add sprinkles and bake at 350° for 11-14 minutes.

- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup butter – softened at room temperature
- 1-1/4 cups powdered sugar
- zest of 2 oranges
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/4 cup Prosecco or champagne
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
