These Blueberry Cookies have gone viral on social media giant TikTok. People can’t stop talking about them and for good reason. They are delicious!
Why We Love These Cookies
This is what you get when you cross a blueberry muffin with a chocolate chip cookie. They are crispy and snappy on the outside and soft on the inside. They have little bites of blueberries that burst with flavor and creamy white chocolate chips. And seriously who can resist a purple cookie?
Ingredients
Tools/Equipment Needed to Make Cookies
- Hand Mixer or Stand Mixer for mixing the dough.
- Cookie Scoop or a Tablespoon for making the perfect-sized cookies. I like to use a 1.5 tablespoon-sized scoop.
- Large Cookie Sheet.
- Parchment Paper or Non-Stick Baking Mat for easy clean-up.
- Spatula for scraping sides of mixing bowl while mixing the dough.
- Cooling Rack for cooling cookies- of course, this is an optional item.
Let’s Make TikTok Blueberry Cookies
- Microwave the blueberries for 30-40 seconds. Pour off excess liquid.
- Mix the butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add the blueberries and mix thoroughly.
- In a separate bowl, stir flour, baking powder, and salt together.
- Add the flour mixture to the blueberry batter 1/4 cup at a time and mix until the dough forms a ball.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Place the cookie dough in the refrigerator while the oven preheats.
- Preheat the oven to 400°.
- Scoop the dough into equal-sized balls and place them on the cookie sheet.
- Bake for 11-13 minutes until the bottoms turn slightly brown.
Krazy Kitchen Mom Tips
- Don’t skip placing the dough into the refrigerator while the oven preheats. The cookie dough will be cold and firm.
- There are many different ways to bring butter to room temperature. I prefer to place butter sticks that are still wrapped on a paper plate and place them outside for 15-20 minutes for perfectly softened butter without melting it.
- My biggest cooking indulgence is using 12-inch x 16-inch pre-cut parchment sheets. They fit perfectly on my large cookie sheet. They can be reused 3 times which makes it a breeze for large batch cooking making.
