Ingredients
- 2 large hoagie rolls
- 2 cups rotisserie chicken (light and dark meat)
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- ½ tbsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper
- 6-8 slices provolone cheese
Let’s Make a Rotisserie Chicken Philly Cheesesteak
- Slice pepper and onion.
- Split hoagie rolls in half lengthwise.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet.
- Add peppers and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Add onions and cook both onions and pepper for 5 minutes.
- Add the chicken, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and cook until the chicken is hot.
- Add slices of provolone cheese on top to cover the chicken, pepper, and onion mixture and let it melt.
- Line hoagie rolls with two slices of provolone.
- Use a large spatula to scoop the chicken mixture into rolls.
- Serve immediately.
