Fruit Salad Cones Ingredients
You can use any combination of fruits for this salad. However, I do not recommend using very soft fruits like bananas or frozen fruit.
Here’s what I used:
- Fresh blueberries
- Fresh strawberries
- Fresh seedless red grapes
- Fresh pear
- Fresh peach
Chocolate Dip with Sprinkle Ingredients
- Large waffle cones
- Chocolate Chips – I use semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Your choice of sprinkles.
- Canola oil or coconut oil to help melt chocolate chips.
Let’s Make Fruit Salad Cones
Chocolate Dipped Cones with Sprinkles
- Add the sprinkles to a bowl large enough to dip chocolate-rimmed cones.
- Add chocolate chips and oil to a microwave-safe dish.
- Melt, in the microwave, in 30-second increments until smooth and creamy.
- Dip the top edges of the cones into the melted chocolate and then into the sprinkles and cover the chocolate layer liberally.
- Let dry on a parchment-paper-lined cookie sheet.
Fruit Salad
- Wash, dry, slice, and dice the fruit into bite-sized pieces.
- Mix all of the fruit in a medium-sized bowl.
- When ready to serve, spoon the fruit into the chocolate rimmed/sprinkle dipped waffle cones.
