Three Ingredient No-Bake Cinnamon Oreo Truffles taste exactly like those little red hot cinnamon candies you used to eat as a kid.
I was so excited when I saw the newest flavor or Oreo cookies – Hot & Spicy Cinnamon. Whoever came up with this idea is my hero. As a kid, I absolutely loved those little red hot spicy candies and I knew exactly what I was going to make with them – No-Bake Cinnamon Oreo Truffles.
All you need is three ingredients:
- A package of Oreo cookies
- Cream cheese
- Melting chocolate
The toughest part of making these is remembering to take the cream cheese out of the refrigerator so that it becomes soft. Or am I the only person who always forgets this step? I’ve found a great way to soften butter but haven’t’ tried it on cream cheese yet.
Here’s my pro tip for softening butter:
- Place a coffee cup full of water in the microwave.
- Set the microwave to 3 minutes to boil the water.
- Place a stick of butter in the microwave with the boiled water, close the door (DO NOT TURN ON the microwave) and let it sit for 5-6 minutes.
