Why We Love This Recipe

  • It only has five ingredient and one of them is frozen corn. I don’t think I know anyone who doesn’t have a bag of frozen corn in their freezer at all time.
  • It’s so easy. Dump the ingredients into the slow-cooker and walk away. No oven, no mess, no fuss.
  • If you’ve ever tasted creamed corn from a can then you know what I mean when I say it has a “tin-like” taste. This delicious creamed corn taste cream, rich, smooth, and fresh.
  • Serve the creamed corn right from the slow cooker. Just set it to warm and use it as the serving dish. No extra dishes!

Krazy Kitchen Mom Tips

  • I highly recommend that you use either fresh corn or frozen corn. I do not recommend using canned corn for this recipe.
  • Be sure to taste the creamed corn once it’s cooked and add salt and pepper to taste. We like this recipe with a lot of black pepper.
  • You can serve this recipe as a side dish or use it as a base for chicken, fish, or seafood. We love this recipe with seared scallops (see photo below).

Sounds wonderful and I can’t wait to try it but what do you consider to be a large bag of corn? Bigger than 16 oz?

I recommend using two 16-ounce bags or one 32-ounce bag. Hope you love it as much as we do!
