Sweet Bourbon Butter Sauce
This bourbon sauce is super simple to make and ready in less than 10 minutes. Spoon it over bread pudding, ice cream, peaches, or just eat it with a spoon.

Ingredients

honey

cup
powdered sugar

teaspoon
ground nutmeg

bourbon
Instructions
Melt butter in a small pot on medium heat.
Stir in honey and nutmeg.
Whisk in 1/2 cup of the powdered sugar at a time and mix until smooth.
Remove the pan from the heat and mix in the bourbon.

To make a smaller batch of this recipe, simply cut the ingredients in half.
This sauce is bourbon forward. The first time you make it, start with 1/2 the bourbon, taste, and add the remaining if desired.
Store the sauce in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to six days. Let it come to room temperature before using.
