Slow Cooker Creamed Corn

Making creamed corned has never been easier. It's sweet, extra rich, and creamy corn that is slow-cooked in the crockpot.

Ingredients

  • 2 large bags frozen corn
  • 8 ounce package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cut butter and cream cheese into small cubes.
  • Place all ingredients into crockpot or slow cooker
  • Cook on high for 2-4 hours or on low for 4-6 hours.

Notes

  • I highly recommend that you use either fresh corn or frozen corn. I do not recommend using canned corn for this recipe.
  • Be sure to taste the creamed corn once it's cooked and add salt and pepper to taste. We like this recipe with a lot of black pepper.
  • You can serve this recipe as a side dish or use it as a base for chicken, fish, or seafood. We love this recipe with seared scallops.
