Eerie Halloween Black Sangria

A fun, bold, and fruity sangria dressed up for Halloween. Black Sangria is a real crowd-pleaser. It's easy to make and it's great as a signature party cocktail.

Ingredients 

  • 1/3 bottel red wine
  • 1 shot Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 6-8 ounces cranberry juice
  • 1/3 pint fresh blackberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup small concord or black grapes
  • fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  • Add the berries and grapes to a small pitcher.
  • Add the wine.
  • Add the Cointreau.
  • Add the cranberry juice.
  • Refrigerate for at least two hours up to overnight.
  • Serve over ice with a fresh rosemary sprigs.

Notes

  • Don't let this wine fool you... it packs a punch and is perfect for sipping.
  • Whichever red wine you choose to use, make sure it's a good wine that you like. You certainly don't need to spend a lot; a red wine that is between $12 - $16 dollars is fine.
  • This wine goes great with any type of Tex-Mex or Italian food.
