Notes

Krazy Kitchen Mom Tips
  • The type of coffee you use matters! For whipped coffee, you must use Instant Coffe or Instant Coffee crystals for this recipe. Some instant coffee is made from ingredients that really aren't coffee so make sure the instant coffee you use is coffee.
  • Decaf Instant coffee works too. Yes - you can use decaf instant coffee for this recipe. It works exactly like regular instant coffee.
  • When it comes to milk you can use whatever type of milk you'd like. I've made it with both almond milk and regular milk.
  • Make sure the water is VERY warm but not boiling. I've made this with room temperature water and very warm water and the very warm water works better. The mixture turns out with higher peaks.
  • I recommend using a hand mixer to make the whipped coffee. If you don't have a hand mixer, you can use a whisk but be warned, you are going to need some strength because it will take you a lot longer. I have read that some people make this in a blender but I have not tried that yet so I can't recommend it.
