Apple Cider Margaritas

Here it is...the best Apple Cider Margaritas you'll ever taste! Apple cider, tequila, triple sec and a splash of a secret ingredient with a cinnamon sugar rim, of course.

Ingredients 

For the Cocktail:

  • 1 shot of tequila
  • 1/2 shot of triple sec
  • 1/2 shot of no-pulp orange juice
  • Apple cider
  • 1- star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 slice of orange peel curled
  • 1 small slice of fresh orange
  • For the Cinnamon sugar rim
  • 2 TBS sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Mocktail Ingredients:

  • 1 shot of no-pulp orange juice
  • 1 shot of sparkling water - you can use orange-flavored water if you'd like
  • Apple cider
  • 1- star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 slice of orange peel curled

Instructions

  • Mix the cinnamon and the sugar and pour it out onto a small plate. I use a small paper plate.
  • Pour a tiny bit of orange juice into a glass and dip your thumb and forefinger into the juice.
  • Rub the rim of the glass with the small slice of orange.
  • Dip the rim into the cinnamon sugar.
  • Fill the glass with ice.
  • Add the tequila, triple sec, and orange juice, and stir.
  • Fill the remainder of the glass with Fresh Apple Cider.
  • Garnish with star anise, cinnamon stick, and orange peel curl.

Notes

Krazy Kitchen Mom Tips
I use 1.5-ounce-sized shot glasses. This size shot glass is also called a jigger.
Make it a Mocktail:
To make the mocktail, you simply omit the tequila and triple sec, use 1 shot of no-pulp orange juice and top it off with sparkling water.
