Manchego Fig Bites

Buttery Nutty Manchego cheese paired with fresh fig slices, fig jam, and prosciutto make the perfect 2-bite handheld appetizer.

Ingredients 

  • 2 oz. block of Manchego cheese
  • 2 tbsp fig butter or fig jam
  • 4 oz. prosciutto
  • 10 dried Mission figs

Instructions

  • Spread fig butter or fig jam onto a serving plate in two rows.
  • Slice the cheese into triangles and arrange them on the platter.
  • Tear the prosciutto slices in half, roll them into bite-sized rolls, and place one on each piece of cheese.
  • Slice the figs in half and place them onto the prosciutto.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • To prepare this appetizer in advance, cut and slice all of the ingredients and store them separately in zip-top bags in the refrigerator. When you are ready to serve, assemble the platter.
