Notes

Krazy Kitchen Mom
  • No need to peel Black Mission Figs. The entire fig, including the skin, is completely edible. The skin is thin and delicate and a great source of vitamins and antioxidants.
  • If you cannot find fresh figs, dried black mission figs are a great substitute. I recommend slicing dried figs into smaller bite-sized pieces if they are used in this recipe.
  • Prosciutto can be very expensive, so I recommend buying just the amount you need for the recipe. Ask the person at the deli counter to cut 4-6 very thin slices of prosciutto. You will save a lot of money and will not have any waste.
