Instructions

To Make Kid-Friendly Sandwiches

  • Use seasonal or shaped cookie cutters to cut out shapes for sandwiches. I made peanut butter and jelly and ham and cheese sandwiches.
  • For the PBJ, use a circle cookie cutter and add googly eyes by using a toothpick and a little bit of peanut butter added to the back of the eyes to act like glue and stick to the bread.
  • For the ham and cheese sandwich, use a square cookie cutter and then cut the sandwich diagonally. Top them with star-shaped cheese slices which you also cut using a star-shaped cookie cutter. Use the same method to stick the stars to the sandwiches using mayonnaise instead of peanut butter as the "glue".

To Assemble the Board

  • Line a small board or serving tray with parchment paper.
  • Place the sandwiches on the board.
  • Add small ingredients to small bowels and place them between the sandwiches.
  • Fill in the spaces with the other bite-sized snacks.
