Chocolate Hazelnut S'more Crostini

Kids and adults alike will love these fun chocolate hazelnut s'more crostini. Traditional flavors of s'mores in a fancy little appetizer.

Ingredients 

  • 1 baguette
  • 1/2 26.5 oz. jar hazelnut spread
  • 1/2 bag mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 8 oz bag honey Teddy Grahams

Instructions

Preparing the Baguette

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Slice the baguette.
  • Brush one side with olive oil.
  • Place them on a parchment paper-covered cookie sheet and toast for 15-20 minutes.
  • Allow them to cool completely before assembling the crostini.

Assembly

  • Preheat oven to broil.
  • Crush the Teddy Grahams to a coarse consistency.
  • Schmere the chocolate hazelnut spread on each toasted baguette slice.
  • Top with crushed Teddy Grahams.
  • Place 4-5 mini marshmallows on each crostini.
  • Place them in the broiler for 3 minutes. Watch them carefully and remove them if they are turning golden brown too quickly and leave them a bit longer if they are not turning golden brown.
  • Remove them from the oven and garnish them with a Teddy Graham. Serve immediately.

Notes

Krazy Kitchen Mom Tips
  • Because every oven is different and the oven racks are set at different heights, I recommend that you watch these closely while they are under the broiler so they do not burn.
  • I recommend that you keep the oven door slightly ajar when broiling any type of toast, cheese, or marshmallow so you can keep a close eye on the cooking status.
