Hot Honey - Three Ingredients

Hot honey is all the rage right now. One bite and you will know why. It's sweet and a little spicy. I promise this is your new "go-to" condiment.

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  • Place the honey, vinegar, and pepper flakes into a small stove-top pan.
  • Heat on high.
  • Once the mixture turns to a liquid, watch it carefully.
  • When it starts to bubble, remove it from the stovetop.
  • Let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes.
  • Transfer to glass storage jars.

  • You can buy small jars or small honey bear jars on amazon. These hot honey bears make great gift items for family and friends.
  • Be careful when making this recipe as the honey gets very hot when heated.
  • For a more intense heat, add an additional teaspoon of red pepper flakes.
  • This recipe lasts 6-8 months when stored in airtight containers at room temperature.
