Olive Cheese Bites

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 60 small green olives stuffed with pimento
  • 1-1/4 cup flour
  • 1 stick of butter - melted

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°
  • Mix cheese and flour in a large bowl.
  • Stir in butter until the dough forms a ball. If it's too dry, wet your hands and mix the dough by hand (repeat as necessary until a ball is formed).
  • With your hands, mold a small amount of the dough around each olive.
  • Place the cheese dough covered olives onto a parchment paper covered sheet ban and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Krazy Kitchen Mom Tips
  • While these are easy to make, they do take some time to assemble. If you're making these on your own, make sure you have about 20-30 minutes to assemble them. If you can convince the kids, your friends, or anyone else to join you, the job goes a bit faster.
  • These can easily be made ahead and frozen for up to 2 months. To thaw, let them sit on the countertop and serve at room temperature.
