Why You Should Make This Drink

Imagine having dessert and drinking it too. That’s exactly what this cocktail promises, the taste of creamy white chocolate, the warmth of vanilla vodka, and the comfort of a little bit of half-n-half. Think spiked iced chocolate milk. It’s so good!

Ingredients

  • White Chocolate Liqueur – This liqueur has a light creamy texture with the flavor of white chocolate. Godiva is a popular brand of both chocolate and white chocolate liqueurs, but I prefer the Irish Sheelin brand which also has a slight Irish Whiskey taste.
  • Vanilla Vodka – You can substitute plain vodka, but the vanilla goes so well with the white chocolate, I recommend you use vanilla-flavored vodka.
  • Half-N-Half – You can also substitute heavy cream or even milk. I use fat-free half-n-half.

Let’s Make A White Chocolate Snowflake Martini

  1. Rim a martini glass with honey or agave syrup.
  2. Pour granulated sugar and decoration sprinkles onto a plate and dip the rim of the glass into the sugar mixture.
  3. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  4. Add white chocolate liqueur, vodka, and half-n-half, and shake for 20-30 seconds.
  5. Pour the martini into the glass and serve immediately.

Krazy Kitchen Mom Tips

  • If you are making a drink for the first time to decide if you like it or not, I recommend that you purchase small individual shots of liquor and liqueurs. You can find these mini bottles in most liquor or wine stores. Once you know you like the cocktail and will be making more of them, you can invest in buying larger bottles.
  • For rimming cocktail glasses, I recommend using fruit slices if the cocktail contains fruit. For example, use a slice of lime for a margarita. Because this martini contains more sweet ingredients I used honey. You can also use agave or even light corn syrup to make a thick rim that holds sugar and sprinkles very well.
