Wow this year went so fast! I am feeling very accomplished with my first year blogging. Not only did this gal learn some new tricks with photos and layout I am hoping to have a blog “facelift” in 2016 – more to come on that topic. In the meantime, feel free to browse all my recipes but especially our favorites from 2015.
Don’t let the use of ground turkey scare you away as this dish is both hearty and healthy. It’s mixed with all of the favors of a beef and bean chili but it’s much healthier.
Behold The Burger!
No better joy then biting into a big juicy burger – no more needs to be said!
This recipe was one of the most sought after on my site in 2015. Onion soup is actually very easy to make and comes with great crowd appeal.
Another family favorite at our house!
Trifle is an English dessert that is usually made from layers of custard or cream and jelly, cake and fruit. The good news is that they are easy to make and delicious to eat. It also comes with a big WOW factor – just look at it!
I’m keeping tradition alive with this meal as this dish is a hand-me-down from Mom. My Dad loved Swedish Meatballs so we had them often. The mouthwatering flavors of nutmeg, allspice, cardamom and ginger make this a very special dish.
In our house, “real men DO eat Quiche” and they love it! We also like a standard quiche Loraine made with the best cheeses we can buy – don’t scrimp on cheese with this one!
Nothing like a bowl of soup to warm your heart. My husband loves this soup.
Thanks for joining us this year. Looking forward to a big 2016! Happy New Year!
