  1. In a stovetop skillet, melt the butter.
  2. Add the mushrooms.
  3. Add the fresh thyme.
  4. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Mix water and cornstarch in a small bowl.
  6. Add cornstarch mixture to mushrooms.
  7. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer for 5 minutes.
