Sweet and Salty Chocolate Chip Cookies

My Sweet and Salty Chocolate Chips Cookies have a secret ingredient. Since I cannot keep a secret, I’ll tell you right away – potato chips!




  1. Preheat oven to 375°
  2. Using a stand mixer or a hand mixer, mix butter, both sugars, and vanilla until soft and creamy.
  3. Add baking soda and salt.
  4. Add flour 1/2 cup at a time.
  5. Add chocolate chips.
  6. Stir in the potato chips by hand (do not use the mixer for this step).
  7. Scoop cookie dough with a cookie scoop or a tablespoon to make balls and place them on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minute.
