  • 13.9 oz. tube refrigerator orange or cinnamon rolls
  • 2 tbsp strawberry jam
  • 1/3 cup diced strawberries (2 large strawberries)
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Sprinkles for decorating if desired

Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 1-1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3oz. cream cheese – softened at room temperature
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream
  • ½ cup diced strawberries (3 large strawberries)

Let’s Make Strawberry Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting

Rolls

  1. Preheat oven to 400° degrees.
  2. Spray an 8-inch pan plate with non-stick spray.
  3. Unwrap the rolls and place them snuggly in the baking dish.
  4. Pour heavy cream over the rolls.
  5. Spoon strawberry jam over each roll.
  6. Divide diced strawberries and place a spoonful on each roll. Gently press down on the strawberries with the back of the spoon.
  7. Bake for 15-19 minutes.
  8. Cool for 30 minutes before frosting.

STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE FROSTING IN A BOWL WITH BEATERS
  1. While rolls are baking, beat cream cheese with 1 tbsp heavy cream until combined.
  2. Add powdered sugar ½ cup at a time and beat at low speed.
  3. Add diced strawberries and beat for 1 minute at medium speed until fluffy.

  • Resting time – Allow rolls to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before glazing.
  • Slicing Technique – For clean and attractive strawberry rolls, use a sharp knife or dental floss to slice through the rolled dough. This ensures a neat cut without squishing the layers, maintaining the integrity of the rolls as they bake.
  • Freeze – Transfer the frosting that came with the tube of rolls into a small zip-top bag and freeze. Use for pancakes, French toast, or croissants.
