Frequently Asked Questions
It’s a very pretty purple color.
It tastes smoother than regular gin. It is still made from juniper berries like all gin, but it also has some botanicals that give it a slightly floral flavor.
No, I added the Cointreau to balance the floral flavor with citrus. Cointreau is an orange-flavored liqueur.
I use purple decorating sugar. The same kind of sugar you use for decorating cookies and cakes.
Krazy Kitchen Mom Tips
- If you are having friends and family over for a Halloween party, you can make this cocktail in a large pitcher and serve it in fun Halloween-themed glasses.
- To make a large pitcher, simply add all of the ingredients except the ice and tonic water. Store in the refrigerator and serve over ice.
- Have fun with decorating and garnishing cocktails. For this drink, I bought plastic spiders and threaded them on straws. The larger spider is also a plastic decoration.
- Enjoy and always drink responsibly.
