Let’s Make Slow Cooker Cranberry Apple Butter
- Spray the slow cooker bowl with non-stick cooking spray.
- Peel and cut the apples into chunks.
- Add the apples to the slow cooker.
- Rinse the cranberries in tap water and add them to the slow cooker bowl.
- In a separate small bowl, mix the honey, orange juice, and water and drizzle over apples and cranberries.
- Add the cinnamon stick, star anise, and pinch of salt.
- Cover slow cooker and cook on high for 2 hours.
- Remove the cinnamon stick and star anise, and mix with an immersion blender until smooth.
- Cool completely before refrigerating.
