Raspberry Fool Dessert is my modern day take on a traditional British dessert made by folding fresh berries into a custard.
I’ve taken a traditional old-school English dessert and made it something so easy and so delicious, you’re going to want to make this all the time. My Raspberry Fool dessert will quickly become your new go-to-dessert any time you have company or just want to treat yourself.
Traditional “Fool” is made by straining the fruit through a fine sieve to get rid of the berry seeds. But since I like a little texture in a creamy dessert, I skipped this step. My Raspberry Fool Dessert is made with frozen raspberries, lime juice, sugar, and whipped cream. I used a prepared whipped cream that I simply added milk to and whipped for a few minutes.
Raspberry Fool Dessert is light, airy, and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness and tartness from the frozen berries. It takes minutes to make and is perfect for a make-ahead dessert. It’s ideal for any season.
