Let’s Make Perfect Soft-Boiled Eggs
- Fill a medium pot with cool water.
- Add salt.
- Bring the water to a gentle boil.
- Using a slotted spoon, lower the egg(s) into the boiling water.
- Simmer the egg(s) for exactly 5 minutes.
- Remove the eggs with the slotted spoon and place them in a bowl filled with ice water.
- Let them sit in the ice water for 5-10 minutes.
- When the eggs are cool enough to handle, carefully crack the shell and peel the egg(s).
How To Peel Soft-Boiled Eggs
