This cheeseburger will change the way you think about grilled cheeseburgers and peanut butter and jelly. It’s the perfect combo of sweet, savory, and spicy.

People Rave About This PBJ Cheeseburger

This is not your Mama’s cheeseburger! It’s slathered with creamy peanut butter, spicy pepper jelly, American cheese, and onion straws.

If you don’t make it because you’re just not sure, make it out of pure curiosity; you’ll be very surprised and very happy.

Want to make this cheeseburger extra decadent? Make it with 2 cheeseburger patties.

Ingredients

  • Creamy peanut butter
  • Red pepper jelly
  • onion straws
  • 80/20 ground beef
  • American cheese
  • Sesame seed buns
  • Cold butter
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper
INGRIENTS TO MAKE PBJ CHEESEBURGERS

Let’s Make Peanut Butter and Jelly Cheeseburger

  1. Heat BBQ grill or stove-top grill to medium-high.
  2. Combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Make two equal-sized patties.
  4. Drop small pieces of the butter equally on each burger and push it in slightly.
  5. Place patties on the grill butter side up.
  6. Grill both sides to your desired temperature.
  7. When burgers are almost done, place 1 slice of cheese on each burger and continue to cook until the cheese begins to melt.
  8. While burgers are cooking, brown the hamburger buns by splitting them in half and placing them face down on the grill for a few minutes.
  9. Slather the bottom bun with peanut butter, and top with a burger patty.
  10. Top cheeseburger patty with red pepper jelly and onion straws.
  11. Add top bun and enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lbs. 80/20 ground beef
  • 1 tbsp Worchestshire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tbsp very cold butter cut into small pieces
  • 4 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 4 tbsp red pepper jelly
  • 2 slices of American cheese
  • 4 tbsp onion crisps or straws store-bought
  • 2 hamburger buns

Method
 

To make the burgers:
