We love the Merry Mule cocktail’s perfect balance of vibrant flavors and festive spirit. The zesty kick of ginger beer and the brightness of cranberry juice create a drink that’s both refreshing and full of character.

Ingredients in the Merry Mule

This cocktail has just a few simple ingredients. You can use your imagination on the garnishes but we love the fresh rosemary and cranberries.

1. Vodka – when you are using Vodka as the lead alcohol in a cocktail, I recommend you always buy a good quality vodka. You don’t have to go top-of-the-line but certainly don’t skimp here. And don’t worry, I have plenty of other cocktail recipes where you can use it too.
2. Cranberry Juice – you can certainly use 100% juice, fresh juice or cranberry cocktail, which is what I used for this recipe.
3. Fresh Lime Juice – this is where I insist that you use fresh lime juice!
4. Simple Syrup – you can buy already bottled simple syrup or you can make your own. I use both, it just depends on my mood.
5. Ginger Beer – another ingredient where you will not want to skimp. You can buy ginger beer in almost any grocery store these days. My daughter prefers the sugar free, but I say go full sugar for this cocktail

Let’s Make the Merry Mule

1. Fill a Moscow Mule mug with ice; add vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice, and simple syrup.
2. Stir
3. Fill the rest of the glass with ginger beer.
4. Add fresh rosemary and cranberries as a garnish.

• 1/2 shot simple syrup
• 2 shots vodka
• 1 shot cranberry juice
• 1 shot lime juice
• 1/2 can of ginger beer
