Buttery Nutty Manchego cheese paired with fresh fig slices, fig jam, and prosciutto make the perfect 2-bite handheld appetizer. This super simple appetizer will definitely be on my holiday appetizer menu this year!
Why We Love This Appetizer
The buttery nutty Manchego cheese has a rich slightly chewy texture making it the perfect vessel for toppings.
This easy appetizer is made with simple store-bought ingredients and it’s ready in minutes for drop-in family and friends over the holidays.
Ingredients
- 6 oz. Block of Manchego Cheese
- 2 tbsp Fig Butter or Fig Jam
- 4 oz. package of Prosciutto slices
- 10 Dried Mission Figs
Let’s Make Manchego Fig Bites
- Spread fig butter or fig jam onto a serving plate in two rows.
- Slice the cheese into triangles and arrange them on the platter.
- Tear the prosciutto slices in half, roll them into bite-sized rolls, and place one on each piece of cheese.
- Slice the figs in half and place them onto the prosciutto.
- Serve immediate.

- To prepare this appetizer in advance, cut and slice all of the ingredients and store them separately in zip-top bags in the refrigerator. When you are ready to serve, assemble the platter.
