- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 4 slices frozen garlic toast
- 4 slices provolone cheese
Let’s Make Garlic Bread Sloppy Joes
- Dice the onion into small pieces.
- Add olive oil and onion to a skillet and cook a medium-high heat onion for four minutes.
- Add ground beef and cook until brown. If needed, drain any excess liquid in the meat.
- Add ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire, vinegar, salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- While the sloppy Joe mixture simmers, cook garlic toast per package instructions.
- Remove garlic toast from the oven and reduce heat to 300°. Keep the toast on the baking pan.
- With the back of a tablespoon, press down the center of each piece of toast to make a well.
- Divide the sloppy joe mixture into four servings and spoon each serving into the wells of the toast slices.
- Top with a slice of provolone cheese and place the pan into the oven for 5 minutes until the cheese has melted.
- Serve with potato chips or macaroni salad.
