Krazy Kitchen Mom Tips
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to ensure even cooking. This helps the pastry achieve a crispier texture right from the start.
- Feta: For the best flavor, opt for high-quality feta cheese. Crumble it yourself for a fresher taste and better texture than pre-crumbled feta.
- Properly Seal the Rolls: Seal the edges of the pastry well to prevent the feta from leaking out during cooking. You can use a bit of water or a beaten egg to help seal the edges.
- Don’t Overcrowd: Arrange the rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them. Overcrowding can lead to uneven cooking and less crispy results.
- Cooking Time: Keep an eye on the rolls as they cook, as air fryers can vary in temperature. Start with a lower time and check frequently to avoid overcooking.
- Brush with Oil: Lightly brush the rolls with olive oil or melted butter before cooking to enhance browning and crispiness.
- Let Them Cool Slightly: After cooking, let the rolls cool for a few minutes. This will allow the cheese to set slightly and make them easier to handle.
