Cilantro Jalapeño Hummus is a smooth creamy dip made from chickpeas, tahini, cilantro and jalapeño peppers.
The story behind Cilantro Jalapeño Hummus is a simple one. I was recently in Arizona on a business trip. I had been flying all day and went right to work when I arrived. Around 7:00 pm a colleague and I realized we hadn’t eaten and we were starving. We took an Uber to a local mediterranean restaurant and had the most amazing cilantro jalapeño hummus. It was, hands-down, the best hummus I’d ever had.
I had all intentions of asking the chef for the recipe, but we got busy talking and I realized on my flight back home the next day that I never got the recipe. Since I knew I just had to have cilantro jalapeño hummus agin I started to experiment. Good news! I did it! I recreated the best hummus I have ever eaten. More good news! I’m sharing that recipe with you. And even more good news! This is my first official video. So much good news I am about to burst!
