Chocolate Raspberry Granola delivers on everything delicious. A deep dark chocolate flavor that is not too sweet with the brightness of freeze-dried raspberries.
I want you to close your eyes and imagine the aroma of chocolate raspberry granola baking slowing in your oven. The house filling with the aroma of a big chocolate hug. Am I exaggerating? No way! If you don’t make this for any other reason, make it for the amazing smell that fills your house. Your family with love you for it.
Chocolate Raspberry granola
The first time I had chocolate flavored granola was a few years ago at a national food blogger conference. For an afternoon snack, they handed out bags of chocolate strawberry granola. It was, hands-down, the best granola I’ve ever had – until now of course. When I got home I found that I could buy it online and that got me thinking. What if I made my own chocolate granola and used raspberries instead? And that’s exactly what I did. This recipe turned out so good that I now think my homemade version is hands-down the best granola I’ve ever eaten.
The perfect holiday gift
This granola makes a wonderful gift during the holidays. If we are going to someone’s home, I bring them a bag and if people are visiting us, they leave with a bag. Last year I did a gift basket for a couple of my friends and I put a bag of granola in each basket…it was a big hit!
How to store granola
I make large batches of granola and need to make sure that it stays crunchy and fresh. I store mine in very large airtight mason jars. A large airtight cookie jar would also work as well as a large ziplock bag. If you store it properly, it will last up to 2 months. That is if you don’t eat it all first.

- Unsweetened cocoa powder
- Honey

If you cannot find freeze-dried fruit at your local grocery store, you can buy it on Amazon.
