Christmas Eve can get a little crazy with little ones around. The anticipation of the big day is on everyone’s mind. At our house, we play board games but if that’s not enough stimulation for your crew, put them to work making these Chocolate Covered Pretzels for Santa.
You know the big guy is going to love a little chocolate/salty treat while he’s busy unloading his sleigh. And really – look at these – so cute, you might not want to eat them. But go ahead because they are simply yummy.

These sweet and salty Chocolate Covered Pretzels are a fun and yummy way to celebrate the holidays. I always have a glass full at my holiday parties.
Ingredients
- 12–15 large pretzel rods
- 1 bag Wilton Candy Melts (Red) – you can buy these at one of the large discount stores or a craft store
- 1 block white baking chocolate
- Lots of decorations – again check out the craft store or big discount store.
Instructions
- Melt Red candies according to the package.
- Dip pretzel rods into melted red chocolate.
- Lay them in a row on a cookie sheet covered with parchment.
- Add lots of sprinkles and decorations.
- Melt white chocolate according to the package.
- With a spoon, drizzle white chocolate cross-wise on the decorate pretzels.
- Set aside until chocolate drys.
