Cheesy Ground Beef Sandwiches are filled with ground beef, onion and 2 types of cheese to an easy sandwich that everyone loves.
This is my version of the famous loose meat sandwich that was invented in Iowa. A few of the things that are different in my recipe are that I use grilled onions instead of freeze dried. I also use cheese, which doesn’t even come near that famous Iowa sandwich. And for the third difference, I make them on Hawaiian Rolls which, in my opinion, are the very best rolls for this type of sandwich – soft and sweet. I brush the rolls with olive oil and sprinkle them with salt before I bake them.
Here’s a video to show you exactly how I make them.
