Ingredients

  • 1 lbs. jumbo shrimp
  • ½ kielbasa link
  • 2 links andouille sausage
  • 16 oz. bag baby potatoes
  • 3 ears of corn on the cob
  • 4-5 tbsp salted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Let’s Make Cajun Shrimp Boil Foil Packets

  1. Preheat the oven or grill to 400°.
  2. Peel and devein the shrimp, leaving the tails on.
  3. Slice the sausages.
  4. Slice the potatoes.
  5. Remove husks from corn and slice into quarters.
  6. Cook the potatoes and corn in a large pot of boiling water for 10 minutes. Strain water and transfer it to a large mixing bowl.
  7. Melt butter and spices in the microwave.
  8. Add butter sauce, sausage, and shrimp into the bowl with the corn and potatoes and gently toss so that the butter.
  9. Cut 6 large pieces of non-stick aluminum foil 17” x 9”. If using regular foil, spray one side of each piece with non-stick cooking spray.
  10. Divide the mixture between the 6 pieces of foil, placing everything in the center.
  11. Fold the foil into packets to seal them as much as possible.
  12. Place them on a large cookie sheet to catch any spillage, cook for 15 minutes, flip them over, and cook for another 10-12 minutes.
  13. Carefully open and serve in foil packets.

  1. Bring the Long Edges Together – Lift the two long sides of the foil up towards the center. Align them so they meet.
  2. Seal the Top – Fold the edges over together in small, tight folds, pressing down to create a tight seal. Continue folding down until you reach the food.
  3. Fold the Short Edges – Press the shorter ends of the foil together and fold them up towards the center in small, tight folds. Ensure the packet is sealed to prevent steam from escaping.
  4. Leave Space for the Steam – Ensure there is some space within the packet for air circulation and steam to build up, which helps cook the ingredients evenly.
  5. Double Wrap (optional) – For added protection and to prevent leaks, you can double wrap the packets by repeating the process with a second layer of foil.
