Invite your friends over and serve up a big pitcher of Bloody Mary cocktails or mocktails and be ready for the accolades.
Why This Recipe Is So Good
- This mix tastes fresh and zesty and it has my special secret ingredient.
- It has just the right amount of zing without being too spicy.
- You can drink it alone or add vodka for a true Bloody Mary cocktail.
Ingredients
- Tomato Juice – Use a good quality tomato juice.
- Secret Ingredient – Dill pickle juice. Just add 3 teaspoons of dill pickle juice to the mix. You’ll be amazed at how good it tastes.
Let’s Make The Best Bloody Mary Mix
- Place all of the ingredients, except the garnish ingredients into a large jar or small pitcher.
- Fill two 12-ounce or 14-ounce glasses with ice.
- Pour Bloody Mary Mix over ice.
- If adding vodka, add 2 ounces of vodka to each glass and stir.
- Garnish and serve.
It’s All About the Garnish
Everyone knows that a big part of making the best Bloody Mary cocktail is the garnish. I’ve seen some pretty outrageous garnishes, but I like to keep it a bit more traditional with a mix of flavors.
- Pickles – Use any type of pickle but choose something that will stay on the garnish pick.
- Olives – In my book, Bloody Marys must have green olives as part of the garnish.
- Fresh limes – These are also a necessity for any Bloody Mary.
- Cheese cubes – I like to use Gouda or Cheddar cubes for something a little different.
Krazy Kitchen Mom Tips
- Use a good quality tomato juice. Choose a juice that you would drink by itself.
- Fresh lime juice in any tomato juice is a must. The combination of the zesty lime and the savory tomato juice go so well together.
