Think you can’t make roasted garlic in an air fryer? Think again! I make Air Fryer Roasted Garlic Aioli in 25 minutes start to finish.

I am head-over-heels about my new Hamilton Beach Air Fryer. I have literally been air frying everything I can get my hands on for days. Here are just a few of the things I’ve made and you can bet you’ll be seeing the recipes for these very soon:

  1. Fried Chicken Wings
  2. Donuts – YES I made donuts in my air fryer
  3. Asian-Style Pork Wontons
  4. Artichokes
  5. Knockwurst Sausage
  6. Coconut Crusted Tilapia
  7. AND NOW Air Fryer Roasted Garlic Aioli

Air Fryer Roasted Garlic Aioli

I made the roasted garlic just like I would have in the oven. But, unlike the oven, where it takes about 40 minutes to roast, I made mine in just 20 minutes in the air fryer. And it was NO MESS – that’s right – NO MESS.

Air Fryer Roasted Garlic Aioli

I simply wrapped my garlic bulbs in aluminum foil, drizzled it with olive oil and salt and pepper. I put it in the air fryer basket, set the temperature and timer and that’s it. And what I got rewarded with was perfectly roasted garlic ready to be the headline ingredient in my Roasted Garlic Aioli.

Now you know why I am head-over-heels with my Hamilton Beach Air Fryer and if you’re not convinced yet, one of these reasons might just do it:

  1. Fried food with less oil or no oil
  2. A healthier alternative to oil-fried food
  3. Delicious, crunchy food
  4. Fast and powerful cooking
  5. And most of all – easy clean up with NO MESS

Description

Think you can’t make roasted garlic in an air fryer? Think again! I make Air Fryer Roasted Garlic Aioli in 25 minutes start to finish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 heads of garlic
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 TBS extra virgin olive oil
  • juice from 1/2 lemon
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

To Roast the Garlic in the Air Fryer

  1. Cut the top off both heads of garlic to expose the actual garlic cloves.
  2. Set each garlic head on a square piece of foil.
  3. Drizzle each one with 1/2 TBS olive oil and add salt and pepper.
  4. Set the air fryer to 400 °
  5. Cook for 20 minutes.

For the Aioli

  1. Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves into a blender or food processor.
  2. Add the mayonnaise, the remaining 1 TBS olive oil, salt and pepper, and lemon juice.
  3. Blend until creamy.
  4. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Oven roasted method – follow all of the directions above but roast in a 425° oven for 30-40 minutes.

Gosh, I’m definitely going to have to get an air fryer! Love all of your great ideas, and the fact that it’s “healthy frying”! Thanks Laura!

I am totally hooked on this air fryer. I made donuts in it this weekend. Can’t wait to share the recipe.
