This healthy bite-sized snack is cooked in the air fryer and delivers big on buffalo flavor without the heaviness of frying in oil.
Why You Should Make This Recipe
I don’t know many kids would jump up and down over cauliflower, but air fry them and toss them in some buttery spicy buffalo sauce and I promise you’ll have some happy campers.
Add some celery stick and blue cheese dressing and you’ll feel like you’re at your favorite wing joint.

Frequently Asked Questions
You can absolutely make these if you don’t have an air fryer! You’ll just need to bake them instead of using the air fryer. Follow the directions in the recipe card, but instead of air frying them, bake them at 425° for 10 minutes. Then dredge them in the sauce and bake them again for another 10 minutes. It’s that easy and they will still stay crispy.
I like to serve my buffalo bites just like you would serve buffalo hot wings with celery sticks and a good blue cheese dressing for dipping.
I have a fantastic and easy Blue Cheese Dressing recipe that goes great with these spicy little bites of cauliflower. You could also serve these with a traditional ranch dipping sauce.
I recommend making them and serving them right away. This recipe does not store very well.

How long will these stay good? Could you use them for meal prepped snacks throughout the week?
krazykitchenmom says
Amanda, I think they’d do pretty well for a day or two in the refrigerator. But I don’t know for sure because, at my house, they are gobbled down in minutes so I never have leftovers.
Sue Ringsdorf says
Thanks for the tips on making them in the oven! Going to try it soon! 🙂

I didn’t have to see or read the post because as soon I read the title, I said I have to pin this recipe right now. Btw… Love the pin photo selection.

I remember the first time I had Buffalo cauliflower I was so pleasantly surprised how good it was. Like the idea of making in the air fryer or oven.
Kacie says
Thanks for the recipe. I made it with Louisiana hot sauce and herb butter… they were spicy! We loved the texture. I should not have broken pieces as small as I did because a lot fell thru to the bottom. Well, I liked those soaked bits as well anyway but less crunchy overall. Quick and easy. This was my very first go with the af and it was a success!
krazykitchenmom says
Kacie, I’m so happy to hear they turned out and better yet, that your first air fryer try was a success. Have you checked out my Orange Glazed Air Fryer Donut recipe? They are so good!

Eileen Kelly says
I am very late to the air fryer game. Got one for Christmas and use it daily. Well now I can make these cauliflower bites. Love that they are low carb too.

Happy to hear you have an air fryer. Yes, please do make these; I’m sure your family will love them.
Terri says
It’s unbelievable that cauliflower can taste so good but buffalo sauce makes everything taste fantastic!
Susy says
Can you do this with frozen Cauliflower if so how long would you cook them
Laura Franco says
Actually I’ve never tried it with frozen cauliflower. You might try letting the frozen cauliflower defrost for about 2 hours in a dish on the countertop, patting it dry with a paper towel, and then cooking for the same amount of time.
Paul Kostandin says
Buffalo butter is the key to good air-fried cauliflower and I love that you used the garlic powder to give it that classic buffalo wing flavor. I like to coat my cauliflower with some dry instant mashed potatoes before frying, it gives them an awesome crunch while keeping them gluten-free!
