Why You Should Try Air Fryer Baked Potatoes

  • Quick Cooking Time: Air fryers significantly reduce cooking time compared to traditional oven baking, making it a great option for busy weeknights or last-minute meals.
  • Crispy Skin: The air fryer creates crispy, flavorful skin while keeping the inside fluffy and tender.
  • Energy Efficient: Air fryers use less energy than conventional ovens, so they’re more environmentally friendly and cost-effective for cooking smaller meals. They are also more efficient when cooking for one or two people
  • Minimal Oil: Air Fryers allow you to use much less oil and still achieve a crispy exterior.

Krazy Kitchen Mom Tips

  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheating the air fryer for about 5 minutes before adding the potatoes helps achieve that crispy skin and fluffy interior. If using an air fryer basket lining, add it after it is preheated.
  • Poke Holes and Season: Use a fork to poke several holes in each potato before cooking. This allows steam to escape and prevents the potatoes from bursting.
  • Size Matters: Select potatoes that are similar in size to ensure even cooking. Medium-sized russet potatoes work best for baking.
